HbbTV invites proposals for 2027 Interoperability and Test Events
The HbbTV Association is inviting proposals from organisations interested in hosting an HbbTV Interoperability and Test Event during 2027.
Interoperability and Test Events provide an important opportunity for developers, broadcasters, manufacturers and other members of the HbbTV community to bring applications and devices together for hands-on interoperability testing. They also support the work of the HbbTV Testing Group, providing valuable opportunities to validate tests ahead of new HbbTV Test Suite releases.
The call follows a successful series of events during 2026, including events hosted at the DTG premises in London in February and at Kineton in June, with a further DTVP event taking place at Fraunhofer FOKUS in October.
Each year, the HbbTV Association selects a number of events as Partner Interoperability and Test Events, supporting their organisation and helping to provide regular testing opportunities for the HbbTV community.
Host an event in 2027
Organisations interested in hosting an HbbTV Interoperability and Test Event in 2027 are invited to review the requirements for organising an event and submit a proposal to admin@hbbtv.org.
Proposals must be received by 17:00 CEST on Monday 19 October 2026.
